C Space is excited to announce that it will join many of the nation’s leading banks, financial services providers, fintech innovators, and nonprofits in supporting #FinHealthMatters Day on June 27, 2017 – a day designed to draw attention to the 46of Americans who are struggling financially.

#FinHealthMatters Day was first launched in 2016 by the Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI), a nonprofit with a mission to improve the financial health of all Americans.

In conjunction with #FinHealthMatters Day, C Space and CFSI are partnering to host Boston FinX, an empathy-building experience designed to deepen participants’ insights on financially underserved populations, catalyze innovation and design in the industry, and facilitate networking among the ecosystem of partners who must work together to improve consumer financial health.

During this half-day immersive experience, CFSI and C Space will provide access to the local Boston area financial community, and participants will conduct real financial transactions that underserved consumers face every day. Following this exercise, participants will debrief on the experience with peers and experts. The intent is that participants walk away from Boston FinX with unique insights to improve strategy, community relations, financial education, and product design.

C Space and CFSI will be joined by practitioners, innovators, foundations, community organizations, government, and others who are committed to re-imagining a more inclusive financial system.

Date: Tuesday June 27, 2017 (FinHealth Matters Day)

Time: 12 pm to 5 pm

Location: 290 Congress St, 7th Floor, Boston, MA 02210 (C Space Headquarters)
